You could count on Karol Basz to attack Nyck De Vries at the start of Race 4 of the World KF1 Championship at Wackersdorf. And that's what happened: Basz, Vigano and Toman ahead of De Vries at the start. But the battle raged, Vigano took the lead, De Vries took third before the end of lap 1. Then on the next lap he was squarely first, the celebration didn't last long for his pursuers. Basz and Toman fought for 2nd place. Bailly managed get back on track after a difficult start, but he was back in 4th on lap 5 from Camponeschi. Then followed D'Agosto, Albon, Vigano and Kanamaru.

Camponeschi was the fastest on the track. Tony Kart were decidedly swift: D'Agosto set the fastest lap, soon replaced by De Ridder. However, it didn't matter to De Vries who increased his lead regularly. 2'' ahead in mid-race, as he had started lapping under 50'' when he took the lead. The usual scenario started from lap 10, he flew.

Toman had lost ground to third placed Basz, and Camponeschi and Bailly soon took 3rd. Clustering around 2nd were Basz, Bailly and Camponeschi, which would heat up. D'Agosto was following from a distance. Bailly attacked Basz, now second, but the group remained tight. Next for Basz to get rid of was Camponeschi. On a dramatic lap 18, Albon and Toman took Basz and D'Agosto. The last lap did not change the order.Nyck De Vries won his fourth victory in four races. Sébastien Bailly was on the second step of the podium and Flavio Camponeschi on the 3rd. Albon was 4th, Toman 5th, D'Agosto 6th. Réguillon and Hubert were within the top 10.
